Every file, from every country, in one secure place.
Albarary Aluminium and Glass works across more than one country, and its data had grown up the same way: held in different places, country by country. We designed and built the company’s cloud infrastructure on AWS, brought its data together there, and gave its people one secure place to work with it, with what each person can see and do set by their role.

The challenge
When a company’s data lives wherever it was created, every country ends up with its own copy of the truth. Finding the current version of a document means knowing where to look, and there is no single place to decide who can open what.
The fix had to bring everything together without losing a file, keep sensitive documents in the right hands, and still be simple enough for people to use every day.
What we built
Cloud infrastructure on AWS
We designed and built the company’s cloud infrastructure on AWS from the ground up, sized for its data and its teams, with security built in from the start rather than added on.
Data from every country, centralised
We brought the company’s data across from each country into AWS, so there is one copy of the truth instead of one per location, all of it on infrastructure the company controls.
A private file platform
On top of it, a self-hosted file platform: people sign in and work with the company’s files from wherever they are, through the browser, without the data ever leaving the company’s own infrastructure.
Access set by role
Sign-in and role-based access, so each person sees and changes only what their role allows, and access is granted or withdrawn in one place as people join, move or leave.
